As a Sales & Sustainability Assistant, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring product quality, safety, and recovery processes in our store.

WHAT WE OFFER
• £12 hourly rate
• Expected start date: 29th October 2024.
• 24 hours weekly, 4 days over 7 and 3 out of 4 weekends.
• Working hours are between 7am - 10:30pm

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE
• Business-minded and result-driven with a customer focus.
• Experience of working in a customer- and commercial-oriented business.

• Ability to prioritise and organise personal work duties to make the most efficient use of time available.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
• Take necessary action on products to give them a second chance, through Re-Shop & Re-Use.
• Present and Sell IKEA products in Re-Shop & Re-Use using a strong commercial expression, selling these products with pride, and setting relevant prices that are attractive to customers yet still generate the best results for the business.
• Always consider the sustainability impact when deciding when and how to recover products.
• Represent and be an ambassador for product recovery, quality, and safety awareness in the unit.
• Work closely with the different functions in the unit to ensure that common working routines and
processes are followed related to product quality, safety and recovery.
• Support and execute the product quality and safety related tasks in the unit to constantly improve customers’ product quality perception of our IKEA products.
• Working with pump trucks, manual handling lifting up to 30kg & using basic hand tools.
• Learning about the IKEA product range.
