HVAC Field Service Technician I

Schneider is looking for an HVAC Field Servie Technician in the Wilmington, NC area

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



* Ability to maintain detailed and complete records of maintenance, repair, and testing activities


* Troubleshoot and repair HVAC/R equipment


* Respond to Emergency maintenance requests


* Inspect, troubleshoot and perform repairs and replacements on equipment


* Utilize computer based work order system


* Off-hour emergency duties


* Perform preventative maintenance to perform basic preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment.


* Other duties may be assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each primary duty satisfactorily.

EDUCATION:


* Technical School HVAC Training.

Knowledge in BAS preferred

SKILLS & ABILITIES:


* Good understanding of HVAC,


* Possess outstanding customer service skills and attitude or willing to learn


* 2-3 years of Commercial HVAC/R experience.

Entry level technician will be considered.


* Basic computer knowledge


* Building Automation Experience is a plus but not required


* Current HVAC and EPA608 Universal License preferred


* Valid Driver's License


* Clean background record


* •Strong basic math skills


* Strong verbal and written communication skills
