We are looking for a Certification Engineer (f/m/d) who is responsible for product conformity assessment in development and in evolution projects.

To achieve the compliance and to ensure the market access of our product you'll work with several internal function and as well with national and international Certification Bodies.

The major focus of this position will be on certificates and declaration of Conformity for our offers: drives, motors, robotics.

Your IMPACT:


* Plan, monitor, and execute conformity assessment activities


* Working with project teams and advising them on how to achieve compliance with the offer


* Evaluation of the conformity of the offer with the standards or other legal requirements


* Marketing advice for international or segmented market access (from mandatory to voluntary conformity assessment)


* Coordinate with external certification bodies and define compliance requirements in consultation with suppliers.


* Notifying management of compliance issues and responding to customer support for certification issues

Your Profile:


* A Bachelor/Master's degree in electrical engineering, automation technology or a related discipline


* At least 3 years of relevant work experience in Automation / Electronics/ R&D or Testing is required


* Good knowledge about the interpretation and application of standards


* A solid knowledge in product compliance assessment for international market and in application of European Directives (LVD, EMC, Machinery, RED, etc.) is an advantage


* Confident knowledge of German and English (written and spoken)


* This position also requests soft skills such as: organized, rigorous, diplomat and pedagogue
