Project Management Internship (Spring 2025)

Schneider Electric has a great opportunity for a Project Management Internship in our Fairfield, OH, facility for Spring 2025.

This position is on-site, so the ideal candidate must be located in the general area.

We are seeking a highly motivated Project Manager Intern to support strategic manufacturing line start-ups at our Fairfield, OH plant.

The ideal candidate will support warehouse management, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure timely project reporting, and drive successful line implementations in collaboration with a cross-functional team.

What will your responsibilities be?


* Support and coordinate manufacturing pilots, ensuring seamless execution and alignment with project timelines.


* Support the manufacturing cross functional teams with activities that include standard operating work instructions, equipment qualification, control plans, incoming inspection, and warehouse management.


* Assist in the implementation and maintenance of ERP (SAP) systems, ensuring data accuracy and system optimization.


* Drive timely reporting of project milestones, risks, and successes to stakeholders and leadership.


* Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to address challenges, optimize processes, and ensure successful line implementations.


* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and operational excellence.


* Utilize strong problem-solving skills and understanding of manufacturing processes to overcome obstacles and drive continuous improvement.


* Utilize statistical background to analyze process performance and drive data-driven decision making.

What qualifications will make you successful?


* Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Engineering, or related fields.


* Strong interest in manufacturing, quality, and supply chain.


* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


* Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.


* Quick learner with a proactive and self-starting attitude.


* Proficiency in Microsoft Office is a plus


* Statistical background is a plus
