Responsibilities:


* Assist Occupational Therapists in the implementation of treatment plans for residents.


* Provide therapeutic exercises and activities that support residents' recovery and improve their quality of life.


* Monitor and document residents' progress, adjusting treatments as directed by the Occupational Therapist.


* Educate residents and their families on therapeutic exercises and activities to continue at home.


* Ensure all therapy services are provided in compliance with facility policies and regulatory guidelines.


* Maintain a clean and organized therapy area.

Qualifications:


* Current and valid certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in California.


* Experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting is preferred.


* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


* Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.


* A commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.
