Physical Therapist Assistant

We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team.

As a Physical Therapy Assistant at Western Slope Health Center, you will work closely with our Physical Therapists to provide high-quality therapeutic care to our residents, helping them achieve their rehabilitation goals and improve their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:


* Assist Physical Therapists in implementing treatment plans for residents.


* Conduct therapeutic exercises and activities under the direction of the Physical Therapist.


* Monitor and document residents' progress and report any changes to the supervising Physical Therapist.


* Educate residents and their families on exercises and activities to support their rehabilitation.


* Ensure the therapy area is clean, organized, and well-maintained.


* Collaborate with other healthcare team members to provide comprehensive care.

Qualifications:


* Current and valid Physical Therapy Assistant license in the state of California.


* Previous experience in a healthcare or rehabilitation setting preferred.


* Strong understanding of therapeutic techniques and exercises.


* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


* Compassionate and patient-focused attitude.


* Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
