Position Summary

Dawes Rigging & Crane Rental, Inc.

is seeking a motivated individual to act as an Accounting Associate to perform a wide range of accounting, administrative, and office support activities to facilitate the efficient operation of the organization.

This is a full-time, non-exempt position with comprehensive benefits package in a casual office environment.

Essential Functions


* Assist with accounts receivable, accounts payable and customer billing


* Identify and correct errors found in financial data


* Match purchase orders forms with vendor invoices, and record the necessary information


* Reconcile vendor statements


* Respond timely to inquiries from vendors, customers, or employees and research and resolve concerns or discrepancies


* File and maintain records


* Transmit information or documents to colleagues or customers, using computer, mail, or facsimile machine


* Assist accounting department in other projects as needed

Skills and Experience Requirements


* Bachelor’s degree in Business (Accounting, Finance, or Management),  or equivalent work experience in accounting / finance field


* Strong analytical skills


* Attention to details and ability to work independently


* Organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks
