The Data Integration - Senior Software Engineer is responsible for leading IICS, SAP Data Services Datasphere & ADF related build & Support projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of automated build, deployment, and release processes for data integration solutions across IICS, SAP Data Services, Datasphere and ADF.

• Ensure that deployment workflows are consistent, repeatable, and aligned with best practices.

• Provide technical direction and guidance to the team in setting up continuous integration, continuous deployment (CI/CD), and version control strategies across diverse data integration platforms.

• Mentor and coach team members on build and deployment best practices.

• Manage configuration items, version control repositories, and deployment artifacts for data integration components.

• Define and enforce versioning standards and practices for different integration platforms.

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee release cycles, including environment management, change control, and deployment schedules.

• Collaborate closely with development, testing, and operations teams to ensure successful releases.

• Lead and manage a team of build engineers, including recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and career development.

• Foster a collaborative team culture that promotes efficiency, innovation, and excellence.

• Work closely with data engineers, architects, business analysts, and operations teams to ensure a seamless transition of data integration solutions from development to production environments.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical solutions for build and deployment processes.

• Identify opportunities for automation and tool enhancements to streamline build, deployment, and release workflows across multiple integration platforms.

• Evaluate and implement relevant tools and technologies to improve efficiency and reliability.

• Monitor build and deployment pipelines for performance, reliability, and adherence to established standards.

• Implement monitoring and alerting mechanisms to proactively address issues.

• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for build and deployment processes, standards, and troubleshooting guidelines.

• Provide training and workshops to internal teams on effectively using build and deployment tools.

What We Are Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 3-5 years of experience designing, implementing, and managing build and deployment processes within data integration platforms such as IICS and SAP Data Services,SAP Datasphere and Azure Data Factory.

• Strong understanding of continuous integration, continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices, and version control systems.
