What you will do

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for managing and developing Maintenance Team in order to improve corrective and planned maintenance practices to increase production lines performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with the rules and procedures of the maintenance process in relation to the specific peculiarities of the Business Units.

• Guarantee, in compliance with the standards, the execution of corrective and planned maintenance interventions and continuous improvement activities, in order to maintain the correct efficiency of the production machines/equipment.

• Supervise the technical maintenance staff in order to improve their professional level and ensure the maximum efficiency of the department, ensuring their effective intervention to fix breakdowns

• coordinate the analysis and resolution of complex problems in the area of origin (man/technology area) and support as a team member the analysis of complex problems managed by the area's Processes Improvement Engineers.

• Manage the development of assigned resources including the individual performance management cycle, collaborate with the area production manager for the deployment of autonomous line group management teams.

• Coordinate and supervise, directly or through the technical maintenance staff, the external companies so that they carry out the work in compliance with the established technical guidelines and safety standards.

• Develop and monitor metrics for monitoring the reliability and maintainability of machine performance.

• Ensure the presence at the productivity meetings of the departments by identifying and defining together with the production staff the appropriate actions aimed at reducing the unplanned breakdowns of individual equipment.
