This role has been designed as 'Hybrid' with an expectation that you will work on average 2-3 days per week from an HPE office.

Job Description:

Job Family Definition:

• Learn about storage controllers and future storage accelerators
• Track and influence industry storage standards.
• Track and inflence industry storage trends and how they may interact with other technologies like drives, CXL, GPUs.
• Drive applicable Proof of Concept of new storage technologies like accelerators and disaggregation at HPE.
• Define use cases and workloads of value for HPE customers.
• Influence system design of future HPE Compute servers accordingly.
• Serve as a trusted SME for customers, Product and Senior Management, Cross-BU technical leaders, and other stakeholders within the company
• Engage with suppliers to influence their long term roadmap to align with HPE priorities.

Education and Experience:•

• BSEE or equivalent minimum
• Minimum 5 years experience in server industry electrical engineering
• Experience with server electrical design, signal integrity, and troubleshooting
• Experience with thermal and/or system manageability a plus
• Excellent communication skills with small and large groups, senior management, and external partners.
