Job Summary

Provide leadership, supervision, and management to ensure a safe, environmentally sound, and aggressively costed terminal operation that supports the customer and CITGO's mission and enhances CITGO's overall strategy and image.

Manage the production and activities of all terminal employees based at his/her facility.

Plans and directs work, provides training, facilitates interaction with other work groups, establishes goals and objectives and sets performance criteria.

Reviews candidates to fill vacancies and conducts performance reviews.

Establishes and manages capital and operating budgets.

As a high-profile terminal operation, manage and represent the company's extensive interests:


* In active and varied communities,


* Among complicated regulatory environments,


* With higher risk and complex activities,


* With union leaders and represented employees, where applicable,


* In a large physical asset base,


* In CITGO's supply chain as a critical and primary strategic terminal.

Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent.

A minimum of 10 years of job-related experience and 7 years of supervisory experience is required.

Specific requirements may vary with the operational and regulatory requirements of the terminal location.

Depending on the location, preference may be given to experience with U.

S.

Coast Guard requirements and marine transfers and DOT (PHMSA) Pipeline operations.

Employees may be required to pass a Federal background check for a Port Entry pass depending on the location of the position.

Train and Develop Terminal Personnel

Promote teamwork and open communication.

Recognize achievements and conduct regulatory-required training.

Use Employee Development Plans to track and implement training and skill development.

Delegate tasks to enhance employee skills and advancement.

Manage Customer Relations and Community Image

Maintain high service levels and open communication with customers.

Keep terminal facilities well-maintained and positive in appearance.

Address community impact and implement proactive community relations strategies.
