Leverage your extensive experience as an Outside Sales Representative for a leading manufacturer in the valves and flow control sector.

In this pivotal role, you will manage product pricing, foster distributor relationships, and serve as a trusted partner for high-profile customers, particularly within the sugar industry.

Key Responsibilities:


* Sales Promotion: Actively promote and market Bray’s product lines to both current and prospective customers in your assigned territory.


* Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their processes and needs to recommend optimal Bray solutions.


* Site Visits: Conduct on-site visits to gain insights into customer operations and propose improvements using Bray products to enhance efficiency and reliability.


* Territory Management: Strategically manage accounts to meet or exceed defined sales goals, with a focus on expanding Bray’s presence in the sugar industry.


* Technical Proficiency: Achieve a thorough understanding of all Bray product lines to effectively address customer inquiries and needs.


* Market Growth: Target growth opportunities within the sugar industry, specifically focusing on 13 mills in Southern Louisiana.

Qualifications:


* Experience: Proven experience selling valves and controls, specifically in the sugar mill industry.


* Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the fluid handling equipment market (e.g., valves, controls, piping).


* Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred; or a high school diploma with relevant experience.


* Skills: Exceptional organizational and communication skills are essential for success.


* Travel: Ability to travel locally, including areas such as Lafayette, Morgan City, and Baton Rouge, Louisiana.


* Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license required; personal vehicle available for sales and service calls.


* Background Check: Credit check required as part of the background screening process.


* Compliance: Must adhere to Bray’s Drivers Policy, including maintaining adequate auto liability insurance and following company safety practices.
