Manager, Finance Transformation

Georgia-Pacific LLC is seeking a Manager, Finance Transformation to join the Process & Technology Transformation Team within the Controller's Organization at GP.

In this role, you will create value as you collaborate closely with stakeholders from Controllership, Finance, IT, and Business Leadership to define project objectives, develop project plans, and ensure successful delivery within scope, timeline, and budget.

An ideal candidate will be able to manage strategic initiatives using a hybrid waterfall/agile framework.

They will facilitate Agile ceremonies, manage project scope and resources, and coordinate cross-functional teams.

Preferred qualifications include experience in a coaching role and an advanced proficiency in project management tools/ platforms for reporting (with preference for SPM ServiceNow).

What You Will Do


* Lead end-to-end project management for controller process and technology transformation initiatives, across project lifecycle


* Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, incorporating both Agile and Waterfall methodologies as appropriate to the project scope and requirements.


* Collaborate closely with stakeholders, including controllership, finance, IT, business leadership, operations to define project objectives, deliverables, and success criteria.


* Manage project scope, schedule, and resources, identifying risks and dependencies and proactively mitigating issues to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery.


* Coordinate cross-functional teams and vendors, assigning tasks, tracking progress, and facilitating communication to ensure collaboration and accountability.


* Conduct regular status meetings and reporting to stakeholders, providing updates on project progress, milestones, and key deliverables.


* Provide leadership and guidance to project team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.


* Oversee change management initiatives to ensure successful adoption of new systems, processes, or organizational changes, minimizing disruption and maximizing stakeholder engagement.
