Business Development Manager

Job Description

IntelliSource is searching for a Business Development Manager to join our partner's team.

The Business Development Manager plays a key role in driving business growth by identifying new sales leads, expanding the client base, and forging strong relationships with internal stakeholders in the marketing and product customization department.

This individual will work closely with the VP of Sales and outside sales reps to schedule and execute initial client meetings, process custom sample requests, drive interest for demonstrations and land next step meetings with the broader sales and operations teams.



* Full-time, located in Midland, NC, Monday-Friday schedule from 9am-6pm



* From time to time, up to 30% travel may be required to support outside meetings and events such as customer meetings and trade shows.



* Salary $65k-$75k depending on experience

Key Responsibilities:


* Lead Generation & Sales Growth :
+ Identify potential clients and decision-makers within the target market.
+ Use lead generation tools and software to maximize effectiveness
+ Research and build relationships with new clients.
+ Present business proposals, services, or products to prospects.
+ Manage and follow up on leads to convert them into sales opportunities.
+ Maintain accurate records of client meetings and timelines in a CRM tool.



* Market Analysis & Strategy Execution :
+ Analyze market trends and competitors to identify growth areas and new opportunities.
+ Analyze go to market strategy and messaging and provide pivots and changes based on performance metrics
+ Keep up to date with industry news and emerging market trends.



* Client Relationship Management :
+ Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business.
+ Act as the point of contact for clients, ensuring they receive excellent service.
+ Provide feedback and insights to internal teams to improve offerings.



* Reporting & Performance Tracking :
+ Prepare regular reports on business development activities, performance metrics, and forecasts.
+ Track sales targets, set individual and team goals, and adjust tactics as needed.

Qualifications:


* Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or equivalent experience


* 3-5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a similar role.


* Strong understanding of market dynamics, sustainability trends, and customer behavior.


* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.


* Ability to work independently with aggressive targets and KPI's


* Proficiency with CRM software, Microsoft Office, and business analytics tools.


* Experience in targeted B2B sales to hospitality, business and industry and food service operations


* Established network of industry contacts is a plus.
