has an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical/Reliability Engineer to join our business at our Calvert City, KY manufacturing plant.

The Mechanical Integrity Engineer will manage and oversee the Mechanical Integrity program.

 Provide overall leadership and mechanical/technical knowledge to ensure the facility complies with applicable State/Federal regulations and operates in a safe and reliable manner.

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:


* Overall Management of the site Mechanical Integrity Program for fabricated equipment (e.g.

piping, vessels, heat exchangers, boilers and storage tanks).


* Approve design of all new fabricated equipment for the site per RAGAGEP and Ashland Standards.


* Set up and maintain ITPM (Inspection, Testing, and Preventative Maintenance) and records in the CMMS (Maximo) and IDMS (OE Suite).


* Evaluate and approve inspection results for suitability for service and continued operations.


* Create CAPAs (Corrective and Preventative Actions) for fabricated equipment based on inspection results in OE Suite and create Maximo work orders.


* Create and approve deficient equipment repair plans for fabricated equipment based on RAGAGEP and jurisdictional requirements.


* Coordinate with site mechanical contractor and the jurisdiction on approval of all code work and ensure proper documentation of repairs is obtained and properly filed in the IDMS.


* Review site and corporate AI&R procedures and participate on corporate teams for standards development.


* Manage site NDT contractor crew (3-10 employees).


* Manage repair projects and assist equipment replacement with various contractors.


* Perform Vendor, Contractor, and Fabricator shop audits/reviews.


* Manage site relief device program and VR shop.


* Manage and maintain site CUI and Hose programs.


* Participate in RCAs and failure mode evaluations.


* Manage site hoist and monorail program and participate on the site Lifting Device Team.


* Ensure all Kentucky state permitting is properly obtained and maintained for boilers and vessel installation, repair, and inspection.


* Maintain necessary licensing (Boiler Contractor, Piping Owner, Piping Inspector, etc.)


* Track CAPAs and Overdue Inspection Status and report to management.


* Conduct risk assessments of deficient equipment or for overdue ITPMs.


* Review and approve MOCs and Action Items in EHS Product Suite.
