Inventory Control Coordinator

The Inventory Control Coordinator is responsible for performing and coordinating a variety of inventory-related functions.

Maintains an accurate, efficient, and data driven supply location; pulls and analyzes inventory data from MEDITECH to make decisions for par levels, item placement, and stock room removals.

The Inventory Control Coordinator trains staff on basic inventory management and system usage while helping to create a culture of best practices.

Acts as liaison between Cath Lab, Surgery, DI, SPD, and Materials Management.



* Responsible for product replenishment of Surgery / Cath Lab / DI / SPD inventories.


* Works with buyer relating to placing and processing purchase orders requests, open order follow up, invoice exceptions.


* Is responsible for communicating product recalls, backorders, conversions, etc., with Surgery / Cath Lab / DI / SPD departments.


* Processes new product and product conversion management.


* Creates product in Item master and charge code requests.


* Maintains and builds Inventory Management.


* Implements improvement processes and systems to reduce inventory and minimize cost across all supply locations.


* Manages Consignment Inventories.


* Manages product recalls.


* Performs MEDITECH testing and support system updates.


* Coordinates product support with department leadership and vendor.


* Performs other duties and special assignments as assigned.

This includes, but is not limited to: orientation of new personnel, par level inventory controls, and special projects as assigned.

Education: A minimum of a high school diploma or GED required.

Licensure: None.

Experience: A minimum of one (1) year experience in warehouse inventory management required.

Proficient with computers and relevant applications required.

Clerical skills such as data entry, filing, numerical computation, and 10-key required.

Knowledge of medical devices and products stocked within the warehouse.

The hourly rate for this position is $34.93 - $43.66 The range displayed on this job posting reflects the target for new hire salaries for this position
