Salary £44,000 per annum,

As our new Operations Manager, you'll play a key role in helping us shape the future of housing in the Yorkshire area, working closely with our brilliant Senior Operations Manager and talented teams.

You’ll manage our housing management remit, driving performance across rented and leasehold properties, while ensuring we continue to deliver outstanding customer service.

Typical day as Operations Manager


* Collaborating with the Senior Operations Manager and fellow Operations Managers to meet regional targets and ensure smooth service delivery across Yorkshire.


* Leading the Housing Managers to improve efficiency and customer experience.


* Monitoring and improving operational performance, ensuring compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements across rented and leasehold services.


* Using your people management skills to motivate, support, and develop your team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.


* Balancing resources and workflows to achieve targets and contractual compliance, while maintaining Home Group’s core values of care, inclusivity, and integrity.


* Travelling regionally (and occasionally nationally) to meet teams, attend meetings, and collaborate with colleagues, while ensuring effective local leadership.

You have


* Proven experience in housing management with a solid understanding of statutory and regulatory requirements.  You will have excellent leadership skills, with the ability to manage, inspire, and develop a high-performing team while driving service improvements.


* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence, negotiate, and resolve conflicts in a positive way.


* Experience of managing performance, resources, and workflows to achieve service excellence and compliance with contractual obligations.


* A proactive and collaborative mindset, always looking for opportunities to improve service delivery and customer satisfaction.


* A full driving licence and access to a vehicle, with the flexibility to travel regionally as needed.
