HV Project Executive

SOLV Energy is an engineering, procurement, construction (EPC) and solar services provider for utility solar, high voltage substation and energy storage markets across North America.

Job Description Summary:
The HV Project Executive is responsible for overseeing and managing of high voltage projects from inception to completions.

Job Description:

Position Responsibilities and Duties:



* Able to perform all Project Manager's responsibilities (refer to position description)



* Lead and mentor Project Managers, Project Engineers, Project Admins, and other junior level employees



* Support the auditing of project budgets with project management team



* Support the auditing of project schedules with project management team



* Review contracts and contract exhibits for project requirements prior to signing



* Negotiate Change Orders with Client and Subcontractors



* Support technical training initiatives



* Own P6 scheduling responsibility



* Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.



* Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.

Physical Demands and Environmental Conditions:



* Requires frequent stooping, bending, crouching, reaching, handling, sitting, standing, walking, and lifting 20 or more lbs.



* Constant finger dexterity and ability to see details at close range and at a distance, hear, talk, and possess depth perception



* Occasional climbing and carrying, proximity to moving mechanical parts, working in high exposed places



* Occasional exposure to environmental conditions

Minimum Skills or Experience Requirements:



* Minimum 10 years of work related experience in design and/or construction of power substations



* Licensed Professional Engineer, PMP certification, or directly relevant industry experience preferred NFPA 70e "Qualified Person" preferred, skilled with knowledge related to the construction and operation of the electrical equipment and installation and has received safety training on the hazards involved



* Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills to work with others under all situations
