About the Role

The Outside Sales Representative - Electric Vehicles will be responsible for identifying and cultivating new business opportunities, building relationships with key stakeholders, and driving sales of our EV charging products.

This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills, a deep understanding of the electric vehicle market, and a passion for sustainable technologies.

This position will be focus on sales in the Northeast, preferred to live in the New York Metro area.

Position is remote with travel required.

What You’ll Do:


* Prospecting and Lead Generation:
+ Identify and target potential customers, including commercial businesses, government entities, property developers, and other relevant stakeholders.
+ Generate leads through market research, networking, and industry events.


* Customer Relationship Management:
+ Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers and influencers in the electric vehicle and sustainability sectors.
+ Understand customer needs and tailor solutions to meet their specific requirements.


* Product Knowledge:
+ Develop a deep understanding of our EV charging products and stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and competitor offerings.
+ Effectively communicate the benefits and features of our EV charging solutions to potential customers.


* Sales Presentations and Demonstrations:
+ Conduct compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the advantages of our EV charging solutions.
+ Address customer inquiries, overcome objections, and provide detailed information to facilitate informed decision-making.


* Proposal Development:
+ Collaborate with the sales and technical teams to create customized proposals and quotes for potential customers.
+ Ensure proposals align with customer requirements and address their specific needs.
