Senior Performance Management Analyst (office Of Chief Administrative Officer)

Job Summary

The Office of Research, Operations and Innovation is dedicated to enhancing operational efficiencies and services in collaboration with all departments and agencies under Cook County government.

The office currently focuses on the following areas: Performance Management and Process Improvement.

Performance Management involves helping departments improve their effectiveness by setting clear goals, developing performance metrics, aligning efforts with organizational objectives, tracking progress, and identifying areas for improvement.

Process Improvement includes working with teams to analyze current processes, identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies, and implement solutions that enhance outcomes.

Perform moderately complex analyses, studies, and surveys for the Bureau/Department in connection with performance management, organizational planning, operations and workflow analysis, staffing, systems and procedures, cost control, space planning, and energy management.

Prepare recommendations and reports designed to improve operations and productivity and make the best use of available resources.

Prepare blueprints, procedural manuals, charts, and other graphic and written materials to be used in formulating management plans, directives, and operational goals.

Provide instruction and direction to others as necessary.

Consult other staff and leadership for more complex issues and challenges.

Minimum Qualifications


* Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's Degree and


* Four (4) years of business operations, project management, change management, government program administration/operations or directly related experience or



* An equivalent combination of education and/or experience is required.

Preferred Qualifications


* Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Master's Degree.

*Degrees awarded outside of the United States with the exception of those awarded in one of the United States territories and Canada, must be credentialed by the World Education Services (WES), Educational Credential Evaluators (ECE) or a National Association of Credential Evaluation (NACES) member organization.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND OTHER CHARACTERISTICS



* Skill in analysis and ability to understand and grasp details, policies, protocols, systems, procedures, and technical vernacular as they pertain to County offices and agencies.


* Ability to learn and understand the operations and organization of a governmental entity.
