Control Manager - Vice President

As a Control Manager - Vice President in the Wealth Management Solutions Control Management team, you will be responsible for helping to ensure compliance with our fiduciary obligations, managing operational risk on behalf of the Wealth Management Solutions business and ongoing regulatory engagement.

You will be part of an agile, future focused, and collaborative team working in partnership with the Trusts and Estates Business to identify and effectively manage risk in the current environment as well as in new business initiatives.

For this role, candidates must be able to physically work in our Newark, DE office 3 days a week and remotely from home 2 days per week.

The specific schedule will be determined and communicated by direct management.

Job Responsibilities:


* Collaborate with senior business partners, Risk, Compliance and other advisors to manage Fiduciary Governance including the most senior Fiduciary Committees on behalf of the Wealth Management Solutions Business


* Promote an environment where fiduciary risk and control issues are escalated and trends are anticipated, identified and remediated


* Provide fiduciary subject matter expertise to assist business partners in design and implementation of efficient, effective, repeatable processes and controls to mitigate risks for strategic business initiatives and ongoing business processes


* Leverage fiduciary expertise and judgment to thoughtfully challenge assumptions, ways of working and operating models


* Establish trusting partnerships and a culture of respectful, honest communication with other Control Managers and business partners as well as intersecting functional teams (e.g.

Compliance, Legal, Operations, Technology, Internal Audit), while engaging diverse perspectives


* Drive business readiness and serve as liaison for audit and regulatory exams


* Identify and assess operational risks related to the US Trusts and Estates business, ensuring compliance with procedures and driving consistency of control standards and programs across the Business
