Software Engineer

DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Develop innovative software solutions to automate U.S.

treasury bonds, rates derivative trading workflows, and provide data intelligence services.

Work within and contribute to large, cross line of business platforms to advance the scale of the firm's technology.

Design, develop, implement, and troubleshoot applications with consideration of upstream and downstream systems and technical implications.

Apply technical troubleshooting to break down solutions and solve technical problems of basic complexity.

Learn and apply system processes, methodologies, and skills for the development of secure, stable code, and systems.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field of study plus 2 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Software/Application Developer, Full Stack Developer, Web Developer, or related occupation.

The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Software/Application Developer, Full Stack Developer, Web Developer, or related occupation.

Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: end-to-end Agile software development lifecycle; Application Architecture Disciplines; Data Architecture Disciplines; Microservices; Python; XML; AWS Cloud Services; Functional Testing; Manual Testing; Regression Testing; Unit Testing; User Acceptance Testing.

Job Location: 545 Washington Blvd, Jersey City, NJ, 07310.

Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.

Full-Time.

Salary: $143,000 - $185,000 per year.
