This is a lab environment position, and the selected candidate is required to work on the bench from our HQ in Houston.

About the Job:


* Responsible for designing, developing, modifying, evaluating electronic components, circuits, firmware, software for electronic equipment.


* Assesses equipment to establish operating data, conducts experimental tests and evaluates results.


* Selects components and equipment based on analysis specifications and reliability.


* Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to complex business issues and is regarded as a subject matter expert.

Frequently contributes to the development of new ideas and methods.

Works on complex problems/projects where assessment of situations or data requires in-depth evaluation of multiple factors.


* Exercises significant judgement within broadly defined policies and practices to arrive at best method of accomplishing tasks and achieving targets.


* Oversees and/or provides expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross functional initiatives.

May provide mentoring and guidance to peers and juniors.


* Acts as subject matter expert in providing direction and guidance to process improvements and policy matters.

Frequently represents the organization to external customers/clients.
