Continuous Improvement Coordinator

Position Summary:
A one-year rotational position with return to prior position.

Lead or coordinate day-to-day operations of the TPC process.

Work with Continuous Improvement Leader to identify opportunities, define process, develop communication and training materials, and guide teams through TPC initiatives.

Minimum Position Qualifications:


* Must be at least 18 years of age.


* High School Diploma or GED.


* Self-motivated and self-directed.


* Proven team leadership skills.


* Adapts quickly to changing conditions and needs.


* Able to build trust by interacting with others in a collaborative manner.


* Invite participation and diverse perspectives to achieve stronger results.


* Set goals and help the team achieve them.


* Effectively communicate with plant personnel of all levels and disciplines.


* Highly organized.


* Proficient multi-tasking.


* Effectively prioritize tasks, resources and schedules


* Proficient in basic computer and key board skills.


* Effective presentation / facilitation skills.


* Able to work all shifts as responsibilities require.


* Must be current on safety observations.


* Must have completed or be able to complete TPC Process training.

Essential Job Functions:



* Coach teams to develop standard work and training materials to support concept application.


* Help coach all shifts to ensure standard work is followed.


* Ensure proper and timely documentation and communication of standard work.


* Assist with implementation of best practices.


* Facilitate Kaizen events as appropriate.


* Keep current with all Kaizen events within the past six months.


* Ensure all training materials are updated to reflect improvements
