Your Role: G&A Procurement Category Lead

The Global Procurement team is tasked with sourcing goods and services to enhance Elanco's value by developing and executing category strategies, managing supplier relationships, and leading strategic sourcing projects.

This role involves maintaining market knowledge, implementing best practices, and ensuring negotiated value is achieved through effective supplier management.

Your Responsibilities:


* Strategic Direction Setting: Define and guide strategic direction for G&A categories including Temporary Labor, Consulting, Security Services, Speakers, KOL’s, Learning & Development, Recruiting, Legal, and other Professional Services.


* Procurement Productivity and Automation: Collaborate with Procurement Regional Leads to enhance productivity through strategic sourcing, process automation, and value capture initiatives across indirect service categories.


* Policy and Automation Leadership: Lead creation and deployment of policies, guidelines, and digital automation for Temp Labor and Consulting spend categories, establishing standards where none exist.


* Stakeholder Alignment and Influence: Foster strong alignment with Finance, HR, and Legal stakeholders to shape future state strategies for optimal value and productivity.


* Business Needs Understanding and Solution Implementation: Deeply understand Elanco’s business needs, ensuring successful implementation and adoption of Procurement solutions for maximum impact.

What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):


* Education: Bachelor’s Degree in business or supply chain


* Required Experience: At least 10 years of Procurement experience with a large company


* Top Two Skills: Extensive experience sourcing large dollar amount indirect categories of spend; experience in managing global third party relationships including management/oversight, supplier and/or supplier selection, negotiation, contracting and problem resolution skills in the finance/accounting space.
