Product Manager

Lead product marketing activities for assigned product lines, contributing to YAI's growth and providing engineering and marketing direction for sales, service, customer satisfaction, production, for both long and short-term planning.


* Provide direction for product development and future advanced technological input for standard and value added products to assist in achieving the growth and success of the corporate business.


* Provide technical input, planning and support on product implementation,


* Define the direction of new automation products that meet or exceed current market requirements.

Lead the R&D team in the development of these products.


* Identify gaps in current product portfolio overseeing development team.


* Identify new product attributes that we can create from scratch to fulfill market need


* Create initial product specifications for new product development


* Work closely with development team through entire design cycle.


* Manage introduction of new products and product life cycle of existing products for the North and South American markets.

Manage transitions from old to new products.


* Provide engineering and marketing tools to sales staff and sales channel to properly sell and support products and meet division sales targets.


* Works under general supervision and typically operates with great latitude for independent judgment and decisions.
