Role reports to: Senior Manager Packaging Operations

Location: Fort Washington PA

Travel %: 10%

What you will do

The Manufacturing Supervisor-Nights is responsible for performing all responsibilities necessary to provide oversight to the manufacturing operations which includes, operate and troubleshoot, set up, adjust, repair and maintain the equipment and manufacturing processes.

The supervisor must be able to provide direction and make decisions within the scope of the role and responsibility for a variety of tasks included but not limited to quality and compliance, technical and people management.

Provide leadership to ensure adherence to all safety, environmental and quality policies and procedures, partner with the cross-functional team to execute the production schedule and fill in for Manager when necessary.

Key Responsibilities

• Attend GMP training on the schedule designated for my role and as appropriate for my role

• Adhere to strict compliance with procedures applicable to my role.

• Exercise the highest level of integrity in the tasks that I perform

• In a timely and prompt manner, identify, report and seek correction for deviations noted in my workplace.

• Embrace a behavior of employee involvement and commitment to doing the job right the first time

• Ensure employees under your scope of responsibility are trained in required procedures for the execution of their role and maintain current with training requirements during the year.

• Promote an environment of employee involvement in the workplace.

• Seek prompt identification, reporting and correction of deviations in the workplace as noted by employees.

• Ensure employees under your scope of responsibility, including Contract Service Providers, are trained in required procedures for the execution of their role and maintain current with training requirements during the year.
