Quality Assurance Technician
What You'll Do
* Deal directly with and act as a communication liaison between the USDA and Americold.
* Assist with USDA inspections, including stamping loads per USDA inspections.
* Collecting, re-stacking, tracking, and destroying refusals after approval from USDA.
Perform corrective actions necessary to comply with sanitation requirements prior to start of any Lab test or inspection activities.
* Pull product for inspections, clean and sanitize inspection rooms and warehouse, complete SSOP checklist, coordinate rounds, and maintain Lab log.
* Receive recalls and alerts and distribute to appropriate management members.
* Work Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5:30 pm, earning competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits including health, 15 paid days off, 401K and 6 paid holidays.
What Experience and Education You Need
* High school diploma or GED required.
* Previous experience in food safety highly preferred.

* Work effectively within a team to successfully complete projects while also achieving project goals and meeting deadlines independently.
