We are looking for a cloud network engineer with broad experience including leaf-spine architectures, practical use of network services, and the ability to debug problems throughout the network stack.

The role will involve a mix of bare-metal systems and public cloud deployments.

The role will be responsible for the deployment, maintenance, upgrade, security, performance, reliability, and scaling of networking and network services for the management of HPC systems.

The ideal candidate for this position will enjoy the challenges of networking on commodity network hardware, on servers running Linux, and providing traditional network services.

You will help configure, troubleshoot, and automate commodity network hardware for the installation, upgrade, and support of our HPC System Management platform.

The team heavily uses Python but a working knowledge of Go and Bash is desirable.

Coding and the use of a CI/CD pipeline is required, and the team can assist you with good software design practices.

Additional responsibilities include participation in the design and implementation of network components for the next-generation HPE HPC System Management platform.

A working knowledge of one or more specialty areas of Leaf-Spine Fabrics, EVPN-VXLAN, IPv6, and declarative network automation, is highly desirable.
