Guardian Glass is looking for a Master Planner to join our team in Auburn Hills, MI!

This is a key position reporting directly to the Regional Supply Planning Manager.

What You Will Do


* Deliver weekly master schedules to meet customer and business needs


* Manage supply planning in RapidResponse with input from Regional Supply Planning and Plant Operations


* Translate RapidResponse output into actionable production schedules with finite schedulers


* Lead the Sales and Operations Execution (S&OE) process


* Develop and manage inventory strategies based on demand patterns, strategy, and customer contracts


* Align inventory levels with warehouse capacity by partnering with Warehouse Managers


* Maintain dock capacities for the monthly plan with Shipping Managers


* Oversee health of inventory to ensure responsible management of working capital invested and to prevent loss through obsolescence


* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve desired outcomes


* Travel domestically up to 10% between plant locations of responsibility

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)


* Prior planning and/or finite scheduling experience


* Experience making data-based business decisions and recommendations


* Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs and present information graphically)

What Will Put You Ahead


* APICS certification


* Kinaxis Rapid Response or experience with another integrated business planning tool


* Infor M3 or other Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems experience


* Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management
