Sr IS Cybersecurity Engineer

Work Schedule :

This is a full-time, 100% remote, 40 hours per week position scheduled to work Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, plus an after hours/weekend on-call rotation.

Applicants hired into this position can work remotely from most states .

This will be discussed during the interview process.

Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

We are seeking a Sr.

Cybersecurity Engineer who has:


* A passion for fostering teamwork and collaboration, building strong relationships, coaching and mentoring others.


* Strong interest leading, planning, researching, implementing, managing, and maintaining security technology solutions that advance the security program.


* A sound comprehension of cloud security, network security, PAM, EDR, SIEM, HIPAA, Incident Management, Threat Hunting, Data Protection and Data Privacy.


* Solid experience troubleshooting complex cybersecurity and network events in collaboration with other Information Systems teams and stakeholders.


* Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, personal accountability, and ability to work with little supervision while being resilient to change.

Education :

Minimum - Associate Degree in Healthcare, Information Technology, Business, or related field

Two (2) years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree in addition to experience below

Preferred - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Engineering, Business or related field

Work Experience :

Minimum -


* Demonstrated success in use of vulnerability scanners, SIEM, cloud security tools, identity access management systems, encryption technologies, firewall management, IDS/IPS, URL filtering, or endpoint detection and response tools


* Demonstrated success assessing, testing, and implementing security systems and controls


* Demonstrated success mentoring and teaching others on cybersecurity protocols and topics


* Demonstrated success leading large scale projects and processes

Preferred - Ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience in a healthcare setting, using technologies such as Microsoft 365, Azure Cloud, Active Directory, Ci...
