Architecture Senior Advisor-Hybrid

The job profile for this position is Architecture Senior Advisor which is a Band 4 Senior Contributor Career Track Role with Cigna-Evernorth Services, Inc.



* Build Synthetic Data as a Service solution for Enterprise solution architecture.

Build Framework/API Services.


* Provide Architecture solution to development teams.


* Manage server upgrades and migrations for databases and data warehouses such as Teradata and SQL Server.


* Load data between databases and build testing environments for replication activities, end-to-end testing, stress testing, load testing for the TDM (Turbo Data Mover) Cloud, and Data Migration Framework between platforms.


* Enhance and maintain fully automated Continuous Integration Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for code deployment for Teradata, Informatica, and TDM.


* Review Data Language (DDL/DML) prior to Quality Assurance, User Acceptance, and Production Testing.


* Monitor the performance of databases and perform system level and application-level tuning.

Assist Development (DEV) Team with design/data modeling to optimize understanding of business needs.


* Search and evaluate alternative solutions related to query performance and recommend the most cost-effective design solutions.


* Troubleshoot performance issues and implement backup/recovery and security strategies.

Position requires a bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or related plus five (5) years of experience in software development, or a master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or related plus two (2) years of experience in software development.

Experience must include data warehousing, database administration, SQL Server, Teradata, Informatica, TDM, Linux, GitLab/GitHub, Jenkins, and UDeploy.

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
