The Pretzel Operator is responsible for operating equipment on the Pretzel Line in a safe and efficient manner.

Starting pay $18.00 an hour.

Day Shift 6am-6pm & Night Shift 6pm - 6am (Nights includes shift differential)

• Operate and troubleshoot the Pretzel Line equipment to include: Pretzel dough blender, Pretzel extruder, cutter, caustic applicator, conveyer system, and oven.
• Communicate with prior shift operator to gain knowledge of the present state of the equipment and production run.
• Review shift paperwork, maintain proper documentation, and follow the set production schedules closely.
• Prepare machine for the start of production and make adjustments when necessary to meet the quality standards when packaging different products
• Visually inspect product quality checking for proper color, size, and texture.
• Recognize and pull inadequate product off the line
• Monitors equipment and reports malfunctions to maintenance and management
• Maintain proper documentation for production run.
• Maintain a clean and organized area.
• Consistently monitor product quality and bring any issues to the attention of the lead or supervisor overseeing the shift.
