Oracle HCM Compensation - Lead Software Engineer

As a Lead Software Engineering at JPMorgan Chase within the Corporate Technology Employee Platform team, you lead multiple teams and manage day-to-day implementation activities by identifying and escalating issues and ensuring our team's work adheres to compliance standards, business requirements, and tactical best practices.

Job responsibilities


* Supports immediate team of software engineers on daily tasks and activities


* Anticipates dependencies with other teams to deliver products and applications in line with business requirements


* Manages stakeholder relationships in accordance with compliance standards, service level agreements, and business requirements


* Creates a culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect for the team members and prioritizes diverse representation

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills


* Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience


* Coaching and mentoring experience.


* Experience managing technologists


* Advanced experience within Oracle HCM Compensation


* Currently has relevant Oracle Certification and/or will obtain the certification within 12 months of hire


* Proficient in automation and continuous delivery methods


* Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle


* Advanced understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Applicant Resiliency, and Security


* In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems


* Practical cloud native experience


* Experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field and expertise in technology disciplines

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills


* Experience with Oracle Redwood design system and Visual Builder


* Oracle HCM Compensation Certified


* Implemented HCM Compensation for couple of clients
