DESCRIPTION

The Pavement Engineer will help deliver outstanding pavement management analysis and design services.

You will leverage your knowledge of pavement engineering fundamentals, pavement management, pavement condition evaluation, and technology to perform various pavement design and management tasks.

You will lead or assist with the preparation of studies, construction documents, drawings, maps, reports, and supporting documentation and calculations.

You must be a self-starter and independent, but you will be supported by a successful team of engineers to advance your technical and computer skills.


* Most days will be spent in the office using pavement management and analysis software to perform analyses and preparing reports.


* Coordination with field staff for performing pavement evaluation and analysis on roads, airport runways, and other facilities using Ground Penetrating Radar, and other non-destructive testing methods.


* Theories of pavement engineering will be applied to projects including geotechnical recommendations and special provisions for projects.

PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS


* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and 5 - 7 years of related experience.

A Masters or Doctorate Degree in Civil Engineering with a concentration in pavement engineering is preferred.


* Experience working on pavement management and engineering projects, including field work is desired.


* Excellent time management skills, the ability to multitask and prioritize competing project obligations.


* Strong English language skills, written and verbal, are essential to long term success in this role.


* Quickly get up to speed on our policy, procedures and relevant software while acquiring an understanding of the company's service offerings, and the client standards relevant to your projects.


* Microsoft Office Suite, proficiency with spreadsheet application development and familiarity with GPR, SQL, pavement management, GIS, and CAD software.

COMPENSATION

The approximate compensation range for this position is $103,229 to $149,054.
