Culinary Operation Coordinator

Job Description

IntelliSource is on the lookout for an enthusiastic and dynamic Culinary Operation Coordinator to spearhead catering events throughout our local sites.

This person must have strong organizational and management skills and provide a high level of service and customer satisfaction.

We need someone helpful and approachable to all employees on-site while able to handle last-minute requests and present creative solutions to on-the-spot issues.

This job includes the following functions:

What You'll Do:


* Manage and create schedules for various events, ensuring seamless execution and staff coordination.


* Oversee inventory levels across all areas of responsibility, maintaining optimal stock to support our site and events.


* Enhance and maintain operational systems and processes, contributing to robust management reporting and efficient information flow.


* Deliver exceptional customer service, establishing the department as a benchmark for excellence and satisfaction.


* Serve as the principal on-site liaison for catering requisitions, expertly managing client expectations and event details.


* Collaborate with executive assistants, ensuring all logistical aspects of meetings and events are flawlessly addressed.


* Direct banquet team operations, allocating tasks effectively to meet and surpass service standards.


* Accurately track event details, providing comprehensive financial reports to the General Manager.


* Reconcile departmental charges diligently, ensuring fiscal accountability and transparency.

What You'll Bring:


* Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is necessary


* Relevant Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience managing high-volume food & beverage operations.


* Forecasting and Budgeting: Proficient in financial calculations and experience with budgeting and forecasting.


* Technical Proficiency: Ability to learn technology platforms for the job; solid proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is required, enabling you to analyze data, create reports, and perform other tasks effectively.


* Dynamic Environment: Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.


* Some Travel: A willingness to travel to various facilities and take on diverse tasks as needed.


* Certifications: Food Manager Certification in hand or a commitment to secure Food Manager Certification within the first 30 days.
