THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN STOCKTON CA.

POSITION SUMMARY

Assists Material Handling with a variety of tasks associated with rentals of equipment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


* Preparation of new and used units for delivery.



* Touch up paint


* Securing decals


* Adding attachments



* Check-in and check-out all rental units and accessories including paperwork and photos.


* Review and document all rental and demo return units for condition.


* Wash, steam clean, and fuel all units.


* Perform preventive maintenance with lube, oil, filter changes, as well as belts, hoses, and lights that are defective.


* Tool (attachments) and tire repair and replacement.


* Maintain fleet in the yard by checking oil, water, and start-up machine at least once a week.


* Responsible for the equipment in the yard in regard to location, general yard maintenance, and tool room.


* Dispose of batteries and tires used by the sales department.


* Perform monthly housekeeping inspections each month by the 15^th.


* Assist in administrative duties/paperwork as assigned.


* Order parts as needed for rental equipment.


* Comply with IIPP regulations and Holt safety practices.


* Keep work area and rental fleet storage area clean and orderly.


* Other duties may be assigned.

SKILLS


* Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.


* Ability to write simple correspondence.


* Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and to customers.


* Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s.


* Ability to fulfill the essential functions in a consistent state of alertness and safe manner.


* Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one or two-step instructions.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

High school or GED and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education experience.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Must have a valid class C driver license and a clean DMV report.

Must be able to operate a variety of standard shift and automatic vehicles.
