Registered Nurse (Maternity)

JOB SUMMARY: Demonstrates the ability to assess the full scope of the Birthing Center patient needs, using the nursing process on a continuous basis.

Provides a safe environment for patient visitors and employees through identifying/correcting/ reporting health and safety hazards.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Graduate from an accredited nursing program.

Licensure/Registration/Certification: Currently licensed as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State.

Mandatory completion of Neonatal Resuscitation program within 6 months of hire required.

BLS certification required.

ACLS optional.

Work Experience: One year experience in labor & delivery required.

Work Type: Part-Time

Standard Hours: 24.00

Work Schedule: NIGHT 12.5

Work Shift: 7p- 7:30a every 3rd WE

Salary Range:

$42-63 per hour
