Assistant Regional Manager

ABOUT THE POSITION

Riverside University Health System (RUHS) is currently recruiting for an Assistant Regional Manager with the Behavioral Health department.

The incumbent will be responsible for the analysis of CalAIM initiatives and implementation pertaining to Crisis System of Care, Substance Abuse Prevention and Treatment, and Detention services.

We are seeking candidates who possess a strong understanding of the following:


* CalAIM initiatives


* LEAN principles


* RUHS Umbrella


* Substance Abuse Prevention and Treatment (SAPT) principles


* Crisis principles


* Behavioral Health Integration principles

Work Schedule: 9/80, every other Friday off (7 a.m.

- 4:30 p.m.)

EXAMPLES OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES
• Support the Regional Manager, Mental Health Services Administrator, or Program Manager in planning, organizing, directing, and coordinating administrative and social service activities within a region; provide administrative and technical supervision over the work of Children's Social Service Supervisors I and II, or Mental Health Service Supervisors.

• Support the Regional Manager, Mental Health Services Administrator, or Program Manager in the recruitment, selection, assignment, and evaluation of subordinate staff; assist in the resolution of personnel problems; assist or provide training to staff.

• Support the Regional Manager, Mental Health Services Administrator, or Program Manager in providing consultation and guidance to subordinates, supervisors, and staff on unusual, sensitive, or complex case problems; provide guidance and ensure compliance with policy, program, and established case practice standards.

• Support the Regional Manager, Mental Health Services Administrator, or Program Manager by ensuring supervisors develop, track and monitor compliance systems; follow up and ensure supervisors are participating in monthly monitoring activities including the review of monthly data reports.

• Keep abreast of local, state, federal, and other regulatory agency laws, rules, regulations, policies and procedures; conduct research on, develop recommendations for, evaluate, and implement new policy and operational changes.
