Coordinator - Appeals (NSA)

Description & Requirements

Maximus is seeking a Coordinator Appeals.

This is a fully remote position.

Must have current experience supporting Maximus in Coordinator - Appeals (NSA) role.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Function as a Subject Matter Expert in one or more process areas.
- Analyze data submitted for Independent Medical Review.
- Track and meet required deadlines for complex cases or other assigned tasks.
- Analyze data using all applicable state law, state regulations, process documents, and other sources as defined by the client contract.
- Answer and respond to phone calls/emails from participants in the Independent Medical Review process.

Minimum Requirements:

- High School diploma or equivalent with 0-2 years of experience.

Home Office Requirements:

-Hardwired internet (ethernet) connection.

-Internet download speed of 25mbps single upload or higher required (you can test this by going to www.speedtst.net).

-Private work area and adequate power source.

-Video calls may be requested on occasion.

Proper background and attire is required.

Minimum Requirements

- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
- 0-2 years of experience required.
