Mobile RV Service Technician

What you'll do: 


* Travel to customer locations to perform on-site repair, maintenance, and installation services for RVs 


* Diagnose mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural issues in RVs 


* Perform repairs and replacements of RV components, including but not limited to: 


* Electrical systems (e.g., wiring, outlets, lights) 


* Plumbing systems (e.g., pipes, faucets, toilets) 


* HVAC systems (e.g., air conditioners, furnaces) 


* Appliances (e.g., refrigerators, stoves, water heaters) 


* Slide-outs, awnings, and leveling systems 


* Conduct routine maintenance tasks, such as lubricating moving parts, inspecting seals, and checking fluid levels 


* Ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications and industry standards during all repair and maintenance activities 


* Communicate effectively with customers to explain diagnoses, repair options, and service recommendations 


* Provide accurate estimates for repair costs and timelines 


* Maintain detailed records of service performed, parts used, and time spent on each job. 


* Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries 


* Keep abreast of new technologies and advancements in RV systems and repair techniques 


* Assist in maintaining inventory of parts and supplies needed for on-site repairs 

Things to Note: 


* This role is seasonal within one region, typically from March to October, coinciding with peak RV travel seasons.

However, there is the option for technicians to relocate to another region during the off-season, ensuring year-round employment opportunities for those interested in pursuing this career path


* Candidates who possess their own truck may be eligible for reimbursement of certain mileage

What we're looking for: 


* Master certified with proven experience as an RV Service Technician and a minimum of five years of experience 


* Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural issues in RVs 


* Strong knowledge of RV systems, components, and appliances 


* Can take direction and see a job through from beginning to completion 


* Willingness to learn and advance 


* The ability to stand, stoop, crawl, and bend for long periods of time 


* Work in environments that include heat, cold, dust, and loud noises 


* Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment 


* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail 


* Exceptional customer service and communication skills 


* Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed 


* Neat, clean, and professional appearance 


* Valid driver's license and clean driving record 


* Ability to pass a background check and drug test
