Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Project and Process Design: The NPI Director is responsible for overseeing the design and development of new projects and products in A.

O.

BU Vietnam, as well as the establishment of new technology platforms in VN.

This involves conceptualizing, planning, and executing the initial stages of product development.

Team Building and Management: The role includes building and managing the VN NPI team, ensuring that the team is equipped with the necessary skills and resources.

It also involves fostering an environment for continuous growth and professional development of team members.

Engineering and Technical Support: The NPI Director provides support to various departments such as production, quality, and sales.

This involves offering engineering solutions, technical advice, and guidance to ensure smooth operations and problem-solving across these departments.

Customer Support: Ensuring that customers receive timely and professional technical support is a key function.

This may include addressing technical inquiries, providing solutions, and ensuring customer satisfaction with the product and service.

Innovation and Improvement: The NPI Director is tasked with driving continuous innovation and improvement within the production process.

This includes identifying areas for enhancement, implementing cost reduction strategies, and optimizing processes to increase efficiency and competitiveness.

Education & Experience

Educational Level: Candidates should possess a Master's degree or higher in the field.

A PhD is preferred, indicating a preference for individuals with advanced academic qualifications.

Field of Study: The ideal candidate's major should be in one of the following areas:


* Physics


* Optical Engineering


* Laser Technology


* Materials Science


* Semiconductor Technology


* Or any other specialties related to opto-electronics

This suggests that a strong foundation in scientific and technical disciplines, particularly those that intersect with optics and electronics, is essential for the role.

Language Proficiency: Candidates must be proficient in English, both in writing and speaking.
