Medical Assistant, Fertility

Work Schedule :

90% FTE day shift position.

Shifts are scheduled Monday - Friday 6:45 AM - 4:30 PM, and Weekends 7:00 AM - 1:00 PM.

You may be eligible for up to a $2,700 sign-on bonus.

Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

We are seeking a Medical Assistant to:



* Join our reproductive providers who provide expertise in male and female infertility, reproductive treatments as well as specialized medical and surgical services.


* Prepare patients for examination, obtain vital signs, document chief complaint, medications, and allergies, and assist with exams and procedures.


* Promote healthy lifestyles, wellness, and education.

Education :

Minimum - High School Diploma or equivalent and ONE of the following:


* Completion of an accredited medical assistant program OR


* Licensure as an LPN OR


* Completion of the UWH Medical Assistant Apprenticeship Program OR


* Attainment of the CCMA certification as a UWH employee OR


* Acceptance into the UWH MA Apprenticeship Program - Accelerated OR


* One year of recent Medical Assistant experience and CMA, RMA or CCMA Certification

Work Experience :

Preferred -


* One (1) year experience as a Certified Medical Assistant or LPN.

Licenses and Certifications :

Minimum -


* Certified as CMA, RMA or CCMA or eligible for certification.

Certification must be obtained within one year of hire from date of hire.


* CPR Certification.
