Software Engineer

DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Build machine learning systems and models for detecting payment fraud, merchant fraud, and merchant risk.

Design and implement knowledge graphs capturing information from various third parties, partner data sources, and partner relationships.

Drive the complete lifecycle from data extraction, model development through model deployment and production evaluation and maintenance.

Collaborate closely with engineering, risk detection, and product teams.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Computational Science and Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Information Systems, or related field of study plus 2 (Two) years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Data Scientist, IT Consultant, Data Scientist Intern, Graduate Research Assistant, or related occupation.

The employer will alternatively accept a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computational Science and Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Information Systems, or related field of study plus 4 (Four) years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Data Scientist, IT Consultant, Data Scientist Intern, Graduate Research Assistant, or related occupation.

Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Linux; Unix; Python; Google Cloud Platform; Machine Learning; XGboost; Deep Learning; and Tensorflow.

Job Location: 3223 Hanover Street, Palo Alto, CA 94304.

Full-Time.

Salary: $215,000 - $215,000 per year.
