Intertek, a leading provider of ATIC (Assurance, Testing, Inspection, and Certification) Services, is looking for an Engineering Team Leader to join our Electrical team in Plano, TX.

What are we looking for?

Engineering Team Leader position responsible for organizing and managing engineering resources within a specific location and/or department.

This includes day-to-day supervision of engineers and technicians.

Additionally, the Team Lead will be responsible for providing local expertise in one or more product categories and mentoring and training less senior technical personnel with applicable product safety standards.

What you'll do:

* Manage and direct personnel


* Manage budgeted costs and exceed monthly production/revenue and profit goals


* Assess, monitor, report, and improve on lab productivity


* Responsible for the hiring, training, professional development, and performance management of Team members


* Maintain daily situational awareness of project statuses and ensure Team members execute the Service Delivery Model.


* Be the first escalation point for all client issues related to past and inflight projects.


* Responsible for the morale and professional welfare of Team members, maintaining clear and transparent expectations, and encouraging their progression and involvement with Intertek.


* Partner with and assist Sales in the preparation of quotes within 48 hours of receipt of RFQ, as well as partnering with Sales and the Project Management Team to resolve non-conformance issues
