Technician, Pipeline (Milner, GA)

The partnership's assets include approximately 50,000 miles of pipelines; 260 million barrels of storage capacity for NGLs, crude oil, refined products and petrochemicals; and 14 billion cubic feet of natural gas storage capacity.The Pipeline Technician with an I&E role maintains, operates, and troubleshoots terminal and pipeline assets including, but not limited to:


* Troubleshoot PLC's, HMI's, motor controls, industrial processes, low and medium voltage equipment.


* Maintain and peorate pipeline assests including, but not limited to, motor operated valves, control valves, dehydration units, and pump unit controls.


* Maintenance and opeation of custody transfer measurement facilities and perform quality control tests.


* Maintain, repair, and calibrate sampling equipment along with electronic, pneumatic, and instrumentation systems for industrial processes


* Launch and receive cleaning pigs and assist with the launch and receiving of smart pigs.


* Knowledgeable of environmental regulations and Company policies.


* Attend all safety meetings and safety training courses as required by Company and regulatory agencies.

The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications:


* A minimum of 5 years of electrical and instrumentation experience preferably with a minimum of 2 years' experience in the operation and maintenance, of a hazardous liquid or gas pipeline facility, or a similar facility/system.


* Thorough knowledge of electrical codes and is familiar with AC voltage (120v through 4160v) three phase and single phase plus 24 & 48 VDC is required.


* Qualified to work on single and 3 phase AC equipment up to 4160 volts is preferred.


* Strong working knowledge of Allen Bradley PLC's, hardware, and software platforms.


* Capability to maintain, repair, and calibrate sampling equipment along with electronic, pneumatic, and instrumentation systems for industrial processes


* Experience with troubleshooting of electronic equipment.


* VoTech certificate or Associate's degree in Electrical/Electronics, Oil & Gas technical field or related work experience is preferred.


* Understand the National Electrical Code


* Strong working knowledge of HMI's and SCADA systems.
