This role will be part of the Sourcing Operation structure in the procurement pillar.

What You Will Do

The Sr Sourcing Specialist, is responsible for:

• Support the development and execution of category practices for selected categories corresponding to Indirects Categories, including support of sourcing strategy definition, sourcing project execution and stakeholder alignment

• With strong category focus the Sourcing analyst drives and supports the execution of the sourcing projects and is the point of interaction between the Category Managers and the procurement operations team and supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

Align with stakeholders

o Supports the Category Managers with the identification of stakeholders, the initiation of the strategy development as well as execution of sourcing projects, assuring that their input is considered in the bidding process.

o Actively engages with stakeholders as defined in alignment with the Category Managers throughout the strategy development and sourcing execution process.

o Prepares the stage gate documentation

Supports sourcing

o Supports the Category Managers in the analysis and definition of the category spend baseline and category profile, incl.

risk assessment and SRM strategy

o Supports development of Go-To-Market and negotiation strategies in alignment with the Category Managers and ensures proper documentation

o Provides support during the supplier screening and supplier selection process

o Performs sourcing management, performs Category Manager activities for projects with limited complexity

o Executes end-to-end sourcing projects for categories assigned:

§ Participates in internal and external analysis (industry & supplier) in collaboration with Category Managers
