Houry Pay Is: $20 - $25/hr depending on experience.

This role is remote and can be based anywere in the USA.

What you'll do on a typical day:


* Facilitate individualized assessments for background checks, which includes reviewing background check results and candidate responses to determine if applicant meets the pre-hire requirement


* Ensuring all required documents are completed correctly and meet all DOT requirements.


* Respond to inquiries about background check practices and processes


* Monitor and track background check statuses, including identifying and researching trends


* Run reports relating to background check practices and processes


* Work closely with the DOT Compliance/Safety, Talent Acquisition and Human Resources teams in a fast-paced environment


* Perform additional job-related responsibilities and duties as assigned and/or necessary

What you need to succeed at GXO:


* At a minimum, you'll need: 1 year of experience DOT driver compliance.


* Knowledge of best practices for conducting DOT background checks, including criminal history checks, employment verification, and motor vehicle records (MVR) checks


* Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws relating to DOT employment background checks


* Proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Word)


* Experience in creating or updating work instructions


* Understanding of DOT drug and alcohol testing regulations, including pre-employment testing procedures and requirements


* Awareness of federal and state laws related to employment screening, including Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) guidelines and Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) regulations.
