Kitchen Utility Aide: PRN 5p-8:30p

Kendal at Oberlin's Dining Services team currently has openings for Kitchen Utility Aides for PRN (as needed) 5p-8:30p.

Essential job functions of the Utility Aides will include but are not limited to:


* Operating dish machines.


* Washing pots and pans.


* Maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen counters and floors.


* Receiving, checking, weighing and storing stock items delivered to Dining Services. 


* Sweeping, mopping and special cleaning jobs to ensure the department's sanitation.

Qualifications & Experience:


* Candidates must be able to read, write and understand English;


* Experience in food services highly desirable;


* Must be dependable with excellent attendance;


* Have a friendly and helpful attitude, working well with others.


* Appearance must be clean and neat. 


* Must be able to lift weights of up to 60 pounds.
