Pharmacy Technician – Community Pharmacy
Work Schedule :
100% FTE.
40 hours per week, 8 hour shifts.
Monday - Friday; hours ranging 8:00AM - 8:00PM.
Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

We have community pharmacies all across the Madison area.

* External hires may be eligible for up to a $3000.00 sign on bonus.

UW Health's Community Pharmacy team is growing! We're seeking individuals who are excited to help our patients fill and pick up prescriptions in our retail pharmacies.
The ideal person will have exceptional customer service skills, strong mathematical skills, and be a critical thinker who easily identifies how to prioritize work and manage time within a busy work environment.
Previous pharmacy experience is wonderful but not required!

Education :
Minimum - High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred - Completion of an accredited pharmacy technician training program
Work Experience :
Minimum - No related work experience required.
Preferred - Six (6) months experience as a pharmacy technician or completion of a Pharmacy Technician Training Program
Licenses and Certifications :
Minimum - As defined by the enactment of 2021 WI Act 100, all candidates hired into this role on or after March 1, 2023, must apply for registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the WI Dept of Safety and Professional Services ("DSPS"), and provide proof of application to their UW Health Recruiter prior to their start date.
Failure to do so will result in delay of start date or withdrawal of offer.
Current incumbents or those starting in an impacted role prior to March 1, 2023, are required to provide proof of application to their department designee no later than March 31, 2023.
